We are a small family business that started after an incredible response to Clyde’s photography on social media. We are so grateful to everyone rallying around Clyde and his recent diagnosis and we are pleased to offer his prints for sale here.
Part of every purchase will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association to help support research and treatment methods for those affected.
Clyde has primarily sold his work to friends and family and at a few select galleries so he is humbled and excited to have his work in your homes.
Thank you for supporting us :)
About Clyde
After growing up on a farm raising various farm animals such as rabbits, terrapins, sheep, pigs and cows as well as having several “wild animals” as pets such as cats, dogs and raccoons, he has always been interested in the habits of and interaction among animals. He has used photography of plants and agricultural practices during his career in his teaching and presentations at meetings all over the world. Dr. Clyde L. Elmore completed a long career as a Weed Scientist at University of California, Davis, CA. During this time he photographed plants extensively, particularly wild and invasive species.
About twenty-three years ago Clyde began photographing wild animals in earnest. His love of traveling has taken him to over 40 countries, allowing him to photograph animals on four continents. He has had the opportunity to photograph large animals in their native habitat and up close. He is always looking for new ways to find animals in natural circumstances. He has an extensive wildlife and landscape photograph collection and is especially interested in photographing animals up close and showing their interactions.
The majority of his wildlife work is photographed with Nikon D800e and 810 cameras. Clyde switched to digital photography about fifteen years ago. Lenses used range from wide angle (17-35mm) through the mid range of telephoto lenses (80-200 and 300 mm) to a 500 mm
